Paul Kamm, a renowned Estonian artist, showcases his exceptional skills in the piece “Pine on Coast” (1961). First receiving acclaim in 1953, he later secured first prize at an amateur artists’ exhibition in Kärdla. In 1961, the State Art Institute of the Estonian SSR provided special oversight to Kamm’s work, and his mentor, Olev Soans, guided him. The same year, he displayed his work in Moscow, receiving a diploma. By 1963, Kamm became a member of the Union of Artists of the Estonian SSR.
